Chief Executive Officer & Director
Mr. McMillan is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He has more than 30 years of experience working with companies focused on marketing, sales and acquisitions of drilling equipment, as well as providing services to energy and mining companies in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Mexico.
Uwe Schmidt, P. Geo.
Mr. Schmidt joined Galore shortly before the Company began trading on the TSX-V and served as Galore’s VP of Exploration from 2006 until 2011. During this time he expanded the Company’s initial focus from its Taseko Property in British Columbia to the Company’s current Dos Santos project in Mexico. His experience. since graduation from U.B.C. in 1971, with a B.Sc. degree in Geology, has included exploring for base metals, precious metals and industrial minerals in Canada, Mexico and Peru. Mr. Schmidt is a professional geologist registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of B.C.
Michael W. Byrne, C.A.
Chief Financial Officer & Director
Co-founder of Galore, Mr. Byrne has over 20 years of public practice accounting, tax and wealth management experience. He has an extensive background in financial management. Byrne was recently appointed to the board of directors and chairman of the audit committee Commander Resources Ltd.
Tex C. Enemark, B.A., LL.B.
Past-president and CEO of the Mining Association of BC, Mr. Enemark vitalized the association in the mid-eighties. He also served as the deputy minister for Consumer and Corporate Affairs for the province of BC.
Lorne Sivertson, B.A., M.A.
Mr. Siverston is past president of Columbia Power and past SVP Canadian Western Bank. He has also served as assistant deputy minister in BC ministries – Finance; Energy and Mines; Forests. He is president of Sivertson & Assoc. Consulting, focusing on development of major resource projects.
Mr. Troup, based in Texas, has been investing and managing a large mining focused portfolio for 25 years. He is a successful investor with a background in finance and business. Mr. Troup has been a strong supporter, shareholder and advisor to Galore for a number of years.
Pamela J. White
Ms. White has 20 years experience as a senior securities legal assistant, as well as acting as Corporate Secretary and general office manager for a number of publicly traded resource-based companies.
